His Back Aint Back in Shape Yet

I got to see our good friend, Carol, again today, and I was sad to have found out that her husband is not in good condition. He can’t stand and it is because of an injured lower back. I did know he injured his back, but I never thought it got worse. I actually thought he had already recovered.

If he will get worse, their next option is to take him to the hospital. Hearing that put me back in time when my husband was in the ICU back home with all that medical equipment attached to his body. I actually remember one medical unit called bovie that one of the nurses mentioned.

I am really hoping and praying Carol’s husband will be okay soon.

I Long to Be On the Road in Comfort

Our neighbor’s travel trailer is now parked in our front yard. My husband’s stepson parked it there for the meantime because he’s been doing some work on the place where it was originally parked. It hasn’t been there for long, though; he put it there after they arrived home from their camping trip last weekend.

I really want to have one of those or better yet, a motor home. It would be nice to travel while laying down on the bed watching your favorite show on TV or perhaps listening to your fave music. I know there will be no hassle in case there will be problems along the way because you can always get a motorhome repair.

I wonder when will I finally get to shop for that dream motor home. Someday, I hope.

A good dad simply deserves good things. So, on Father's Day, I got the man of the house the best goodies that I could think of - a polo shirt and a wallet from Kenneth Cole. Simply perfect since he haven't had a new wallet for years. Well, that's why I bought him one because his wallet really looks pitiful. LOL.

I love the fabric of the polo shirt. Real nice. And the wallet is made of leather. Simply the best!

I Sure Did Eat Good That Night

The gala night on our Alma Mater’s Reunion was a success for me. You want to know why? Well, my appetite a few weeks before the night was so good that I was afraid the cocktail dress that I bought wouldn’t fit so, I watched my food intake and, gladly, it fit perfectly.

You might think I got myself a diet pill that works but, nah. I did think about it just in case I would gain weight. You can just imagine the relief I felt when I tried the dress on before the party.

People who are always on the go definitely need a breather once in a while. Some choose to take a break and have their R & R by having a vacation somewhere. But we do know that having a vacation can sometimes cost an arm and a leg. Case in point: playing games online. I am currently so into online playing that my free time in between tasks are spent playing. What can I say? It’s what I consider my outlet from the stress I undergo on a day-to-day basis. And I know I am not the only one who is so into it.

My brother is actually addicted to Black Jack. I don’t know how to play the game, but I do believe it is totally entertaining based on what my brother has told me and from what I have seen. A Just-in-Case Option

Not for nothing, I’ve always considered myself a wise spender. I only spend what I can afford. I have always been like that and I know I will always be. And I am proud to say that I don’t have any debt at present. I make it a point to be always responsible with my earnings and though I must admit that I can be impulsive at times, I know how to bounce back without any difficulty.

But, if circumstances arise where there is a need to resort to a payday advance, I would never hesitate to go for it. I am not rich and I don’t have large savings that can cope with things that need a big amount, such as an unexpected emergency. I am living a simple life, am definitely enjoying it, but sometimes things do happen.
