We visited a county nearby recently and one thing that fascinated me was the presence of solar panels on almost all houses. Most of the area is farmland and those people thinking about using solar panels for energy is such a smart thing to do. It save us things in a lot of ways, not to mention, it is earth friendly too.

Isn’t it fun to watch a teen flick even if it’s out of your age range? I am already in my 30’s, but I still watch movies of that genre from time to time. What can I say? Aside from the fact that I have nieces in their teens who always drag me to watch teen movies with them, I am also still feeling young. LOL.

Both my nieces who are in their teens are Selena Gomez fans. I wouldn’t have known the actress if not for them. And now that her new movie, Monte Carlo, will be in theaters on July 1st, you can just imagine the stories about the movie that I hear from them almost everyday. Yes, for certain, there is no doubt they are going to see the movie of their idol. And if my time will allow me, I will certainly watch it with them. I’ve seen the trailer and I can tell it is really a hilarious movie. Simply the kind of movie that I like because laughter is the best medicine.

He Continues to Puff Away

I really want the husband to stop smoking totally, but I know it is not that simple. He’s trying to cut if off little by little though which makes me glad because at least, he is really trying. I don’t make a big fuss about it anymore like I used to. I often kid him around about it actually.

Just this morning while we were at the mall, I saw an array of cheyenne cigars in a cigar shop and I told him, “For a change, why don’t you switch to cigars, Honey?” And as always, he was amused with me. Sometimes I will grab his cigarette from him and pretend like I am smoking, and I asked him wouldn’t I look sexy smoking a cigar…LOL!

I am making things easier and lighter on him. He’s not quit yet, but at least I see him making the effort.

He Has to Have His Talking Head Fix

We have a satellite dish here at home for our television viewing, but the bad thing about it is the signal is interrupted whenever there’s rain. I really have no problem with it since I really don’t watch television much, but it pisses the husband, most especially if his favorite talk show is on.

He already thought of asking people what’s the best way to have an uninterrupted viewing, but his time hasn’t allowed him yet. He did read about digital antennas that he saw online, but I don’t know yet if he will resort to that. Maybe he is still weighing things out because I haven’t heard him utter a word about it.

A friend on Facebook posted this last week and I've been listening to it since then. I don't know if this song is new because that was only the first time that I've heard of it. And I am not familiar with the artist too. Maybe they've been in the music scene for long and I am simply not updated. Poor me. Har. Whichever, I like the song's tune. Very catchy. A Father’s Day Surprise For Him, Maybe?

Normally, I would only have a cup of coffee a day and that’s when the time I get up in the morning. I do have a second cup sometimes, but today, I had three - two cups in the early morning and an additional cup in the mid-morning. That wasn’t the first time that it’s happened though, but it seldom happens. I don’t know why. I was just craving for another cup after I had my breakfast.

And I am actually craving for espresso coffee now. I tried it once with the husband when we were in a coffee shop back in my home country and though I prefer my coffee with sugar and cream, I kind of liked the espresso. And because of that thinking, guess what I am doing now? I am reading Breville Espresso Maker Reviews. Maybe getting an espresso maker would be a good idea, huh? The husband would surely agree, no doubt.

You might wonder, but the song's lyrics has nothing to do with my lovelife's current status, okay? It speaks of my niece's. (",) I don't really want to go into the details about it because she might yak at me. LOL.

I've heard of this song just last week and she was the one who introduced this song to me. And though the lyrics is kind of sad, I really like the tune and the rhythm. It makes me want to dance.

Freebies Light Up My Eyes!

Would there be anything better than getting great deals plus Freebies when you shop? I don’t think so. Even more so when you can get almost everything that you would want or could think of.

Shopping is one of my weaknesses and to be honest, I’ve been shopping online lately. But it wasn’t so much that I shopped till I dropped. It was just that sales were everywhere and I simply grabbed the opportunity.

Saturday last week was a day of pampering for me. I was pampered from head to toe by one of the best, if not the best Spa here in the city, Carmen! Carmen! Salon e'Spa! But since it will be a long story if I will talk about it all, I will share with you a part of that fabulous pampering first for the meantime. Let me start of with the manicure and pedicure.

My whole day of pampering ran for 5 1/2 hours. My appointment time was at 10 o'clock in the morning, but I was there 10 minutes before the time. I was given a pedicure first, and then the manicure. I had chosen French Tip for my polish and below were the proofs. (",)

I Like What I See, and So Does My Hubby

Scrutinizing myself in a mirror after I am done fixing myself is one thing that I am accustomed to doing, and I guess I am not the only lady who loves doing that; most of us, if not all, actually. But I do know of a few who aren’t that particular about it, and that’s their prerogative. But I’m used to doing it and will continue to do so.

And there should be a particular mirror too, a full length mirror to be precise so I will be able to see the whole me. We have one of those full length Cheval mirrors in the bedroom and it is perfectly seated in the corner where I can perfectly check myself without problems.
