I was looking at our Christmas photos earlier today and it made me nostalgic. After opening the gifts and enjoying the food, we all played wii at our neighbor‘s house. It was my first time to play it as well as hubby and it was really fun. We were having a hard time dealing with the wii remotes at first but we mastered it after a couple of games, and guess what? I beat hubby and he never beat me. Wheee!!! They actually teased him after that.
You need some more practice, Honey! Maybe we’ll just buy our own wii so, you can practice more. What do you think?
My good friend, Carol called me an hour ago and invited me to go to mall with her tomorrow. Yay!!! I love going to the mall even if it would mean just going around and window shopping. It relaxes me, not to mention, it is a good exercise too even though having leg muscle pain is what I gain at the end of the day.
She mentioned about checking medical scrubs. I am not sure though who’s going to use them since she’s not in the medical profession. Maybe someone she knows or maybe she just wants to take advantage of their comfort while lounging around the house. I will find out for sure tomorrow.
Oh, I just remember. I need to get me something to wear for Yogi’s upcoming birthday so, I will not be just window shopping, but real shopping. Oh yeah!!!
Most of my day yesterday was spent inside the house. The temperature outside was great, but I opted to stay inside. It was my laundry day and though spending a little time outside did occur to me, that changed after I found out what channel my favorite show, The Doctors, was on. Yeah, I only found out about it yesterday after I did channel hopping. I’ve not been watching TV since I arrived here in the land of Uncle Sam. I have listened to a lot of news though since it’s what my hubby likes to watch every single day.
The show tackled beauty and how to age gracefully. Perfect for me since I know I am not getting any younger. They talked about the best anti aging product and other stuff to help us get rid of those wrinkles and they showed home-made anti aging products too. That was cool! I think I will try those one day.
I haven't heard of this song or heard of the artist until my good friend, Judy posted it on my Facebook wall one day. She was the one who introduced me to Bruno Mars and I thank her for that because the song is really nice. Perfect for friends! Perfect for us!

One week more to go and spring is here. We all can hardly wait. We’re tired of dealing with all the cold weather and snow. And when you talk of spring, you think rebirth. The flowers will start to bloom, the trees will leaf and of course, not to forget, the grass will multiply and need mowing.
This early, my husband is already thinking of buying a toro zero turn mower that he saw at the hardware store last week. He’s been checking for mowers for weeks now actually since our mower has problems. Instead of having it fixed, he thought of just buying a new one since the one we have is eight years old.
Mowing can be fun, so he says. And you know what? I can’t wait to try it.
Jim Brickman is one hell of a talented artist and I so love his songs. I was listening to his songs on YouTube one day when I came across this song. I've never heard of this song before. I listened to it and boom! Again, it captured my heart. It's a very nice song and the lyrics as usual is very meaningful. Check this out!

I just had my dinner, but guess what I am doing now? Munching on mrs fields cookies, nonetheless. They are very delicious and are one of my favorite munchies. I am just so thankful that I have a husband who spoils me in regard to my weaknesses. He bought a box of cookies for me last weekend and I guess he will be buying another box for me again by the coming weekend because they’re almost gone. What can I say? I simply can’t get enough of ‘em.
I overheard my hubby talking to his best friend on the phone one time and he mentioned black & mild. I thought they were talking about coffee. But no. Can you guess what it was? Cigars. I could have not guessed that myself if you’d asked me. Well, I don’t smoke so basically, that’s a given fact that I have no idea about it. Thanks to my hubby, there is now additional knowledge in my brain. Hehe.
But knowing my hubby to be full of wit and knowledge, I know there are more things that I will learn from him which I so look forward to happening.
My good friend from Colorado and I have been talking about bags today. And guess what kind of bag? LV bags. It is her goal to own an LV bag - an original one, of course. We browsed the site while chatting and shared our thoughts about each design. We were so hooked on it that she forgot what she had to do for the day which was to read about disability insurance.
We had to stop our chitchat about the bags as soon as she remembered. It is important that researched about it today so she could give her husband the info he desired. The bags had to wait. Besides, we still don’t have the money to shop for them. In time we will, I hope. Hehe.
