Testing, 1-2-3

When my husband told me that we will go shopping tomorrow, I was all smiles. Well, that is my weakness and I’ve been vocal about it, and my husband knows my weakness very well. But it will not only be shopping for clothes for me; he needs to look for a network cable tester too. He was checking the network cable earlier and he thinks there is something wrong with it thus, he needs the tester.

My son and I will browse the mall while he will be busy browsing for a tester. That way, not a minute is wasted. Hee hee.

Purple Power For Me

This purple lingerie is one among the many gifts that I received at my bridal shower party. Purple is one of my favorite colors and the ladies pretty well knew that. They asked me before the shower about my favorite colors which are blue, purple and red, and all the gifts, which were mostly lingerie, were in those colors.

But they had a hard time looking for lingerie that would fit me. I am a size 0 or 2 here or XS and the smallest in most stores is small. This lingerie is size small so it is a little big, but I didn’t really mind because I prefer wearing loose clothing in bed.

Some of the ladies who attended my bridal shower are using diet pills and they envy me a lot. Diet pills that work fast was among the many topics that we talked about that night. I feel so lucky hearing their stories because I don’t have to look for one or take one. Lucky me eh!

My Cinderella Slippers

This is the pair of shoes that I wore at our wedding last February 5. We had a hard time looking for a pair of shoes for me because the smallest they usually carry is size 6, and I am size 5. But luckily, we found this pair and guess what? This was the only size 5 left among the hundreds of pairs of shoes that they had. Imagine that!

We will be attending a gala night at my reunion in four months' time and the attire is formal. I certainly hope I don’t gain any weight before the big night so my clothes as well as my shoes will still fit me. I know that a weight loss diet would help, if necessary. But I hope I will not gain weight by that time and have to face that dilemma because I don’t want to have to resort to that.

Birthday Gifts for Him

My Honey BA also known as my hubby celebrated his birthday on Tuesday. I can't go anywhere since aside from the fact that I am not allowed to drive yet because I don't have a license, I really don't know how to drive. Yikes! So what I did was order a gift for him online. But with the help of a friend too because I can't use my Paypal for shopping either since they need my SSN before I could change it to a US account. Oh well!

I got him a long-sleeved shirt from a known brand. And black and grey being his favorite colors, that's what I chose, and he was so delighted. Glad Yogi and I made him so happy on his special day. (",)

Imagine that! Red paper bag and pink tissues. LOL. I had them on my bridal shower party and thought of reusing them. What's inside is the most important thing anyway, and my hubby didn't make a big deal out of it. (",)

I Sure Do Miss ‘Em

I will be talking with my friends back home come Monday via Skype. They will have a get-together, a post Christmas and Valentine get-together as well as a celebration for our wedding. It was impossible for them to be at my wedding so they are having a celebration with themselves.

I’ve not seen them for like three months now and I do wonder how they look. Do they need the best weight loss supplement because they gained weight? Do they need a total make-over because they all look haggard because of missing me too much? LOL. Just kidding! I miss my friends and I can’t wait to see them all on Monday.

I Want to Get Ahead of the Heads

I was thinking of buying myself a set of make-up. I don’t wear make-up at all and I don’t even know how to put on make-up, but I figured that it was time for me to learn. It doesn’t mean that I am going to wear it everyday, though, but only on special occasions where wearing it is needed.

I have to buy blackhead removal too, as well as whitehead removal if there is such a thing. Both of them are simply annoying to look at. I started pricking the whiteheads with the help of tweezers, but it did no good. Given time, I’ll get these things taken care of.

Going Away in Style

A few days before our wedding, I wasn’t aware about what a “going away outfit” was until my hubby told me. It is something that we don’t have in our country since after the wedding, the bride and groom go directly to their hotel room and that’s it.

In my hubby’s country, usually, the bride and groom goes somewhere for their honeymoon right after the wedding, thus, the going away outfit. We didn’t go anywhere far but we did go to his favorite place and hung out with his friends and had dinner with only the two of us afterward.

That’s the outfit that I bought. My hubby gave me shopping money that same day that he told me about the outfit. Just one of the many ways of him spoiling me. It could be a big deal for some men to give their wife shopping money but not him. Plus the frown on their faces thinking about their woman’s weakness which is shopping. I feel sorry for them; that will only give them wrinkles which will eventually lead to them needing anti wrinkle creams. They should be like my hubby so everyone will be happy and wrinkle free. (“,)

The Price of Being a Woman

Friday night was not a good night for me at all. I was having menstrual cramps, thus, I had a sleepless night. The pain was tolerable but it made me very uncomfortable. My hubby told me to take a pill for the pain but I opted not to. I don’t rely on medicine that much. For as long as I can take it, I just suck it up and deal with it.

I felt better the next day though, but had it been that if I had still been uncomfortable, I would certainly take a pill that time around. I don’t want to have another sleepless night and then have to resort to creams to get rid of the dark circles around the eyes. I can always check http://www.howtogetridofdarkcircles.org anytime, but like I said, I don’t want to rely on medicines or creams for as long as I can handle it.

No Baby Bump for Me; Yet

On the Road

My hubby and I are planning to have our honeymoon in June. I am really hoping that it will push through. We haven’t finalized things yet since we still have like four months to think about it, but we do know where we’re headed, and it will be somewhere north. The trip will be an approximately 13-hour travel since we will travel by car.

I was hesitant with the road trip at first since I know how tiring it can be, not to mention breaking down somewhere like in the middle of nowhere would certainly be a disaster. But my hubby assured me that he has done it before and if ever we’ll encounter that problem, there will always be a breakdown service to the rescue.

That eased my mind, and I really can’t wait for June.

That’s My Boy

It is less than two months more to go and my son will be celebrating his 8th birthday. That will be on March 28, specifically. But as early as this time, he’s already making a list of what he wants for his birthday - books about dinosaurs (he’s so into dinosaurs now that even though he’s gotten a lot of dinosaur books already, he still wants some more), a new pair of sneakers, toy soldiers and xbox to name a few.

Yes, there are lots of them. I did tell him that I can’t afford them all and knowing him to be a smart kid, he said that he will decide which one to prioritize when his birthday’s already near. Isn’t he a smart young boy?
