On V-day, he sent me these six long stemmed red roses plus chocolates.
Then on our anniversary, he sent me a red heart-shaped pillow, a pack of chocolates and a cake that I so wished we could have both shared.
And of course, these surprises on those special occasions came with a card that had a very touching message in it. So meaningful that it melted my heart and I felt so lucky to be blessed with such a man. Thank you for everything, Honey! Mwah!
Oh well, here we go again! Another power interruption! The good thing is, we have a generator and dad has it running now so I can continue browsing the internet as much as I want to.
One of the things I've been searching for is the name of an interior designer who has a show on The Lifestyle Network and I'm really fascinated by his work and talent. The transformations and makeovers I've seen him do on homes he visited are simply marvelous. I was amazed to the point that I forgot his name and the name of his TV show. I do remember his first name which is David, but when I put it in search engines, I got thousands of hits which included names of doctors, actors, etc., and even the name of a mesothelioma lawyer. I’m trying to narrow it down by putting in the channel’s name, but to no avail.
Oh well, maybe I’ll just wait for his show to air again and pay attention. But I've even forgot its scheduled time of airing. Poor me, huh! Perhaps you can blame it on my ever-widening memory gap. HAR-HAR-HAR!
My sister-in-law, Karen who is now six months pregnant had her ultrasound last week and…..IT'S A GIRL! Hurray!!! We’ve all wanted a girl since the number of boys has been ever multiplying in our families and the news made everyone jump for joy. My brother and Karen will have their bundle of joy in May which is summer in our part of the world. That being so, she will be nicknamed, Summer. And over the next couple of months my brother knows he needs to think about getting life insurance for him and his wifey because they now have their daughter’s future to think of.
Anyway, here’s a photo of the ultrasound that my brother scanned and shared with us. It reminds me of back in the day when I had the wonderful experience of becoming a mother; so very nostalgic.
I was in the middle of checking insurance quotes online when...POOF! The power was gone; another interruption of service. We’ve been experiencing them for a month now, and per the authorities, we will be having them off and on until May or June. That sure doesn’t sound too good. The power outages are due to shortages the region is having, and nothing can be done other than hitting the city and the region with rotating brownouts, rather than shutting the power off for an entire day in certain areas.
In many ways, rotating brownouts are better, compared to long hours of brownouts or blackouts like we once experienced. This way, we only have to go two to three hours each occurrence. Still, it can be very uncomfortable and annoying.
Anyway, the power just came back on, so I must belay my musings and continue browsing the net for insurance quotes.
Should I be the one talking about this? I think it would be better if my fiance' would be the one telling the tale here so there will be no holds barred. LOL. Just kidding!
I am jealous and possessive but to a certain extent only. I'm not the type who go where my man goes or keep constant check on him on where he is, who's with him, etc. etc. Definitely not me! I give my man 100% trust not unless he'll give me reasons to doubt him. And if he does, then he should prove he is still worthy of my 100% trust or he'd get deaf with my endless yakking. Hee hee.
I'm proud to say too that I am a one-man woman - never cheated, never had flings, whatsoever! And I'm happy to say that because of my being a good girl, I've been so blessed when it comes to relationships. First with my late hubby and now with my Big Angel or my fiance'. They're both good men, one-woman men. Lucky me!
What else? Hmmm... For more info, just ask my fiance'. LOL.
With the holidays just gone by, we are already thinking of what promotional items we'll use the next holiday season. We always make it a point to have items for giveaways during the holidays for our workers and clients who have been supporting us and making our business good to go.
Over the years we’ve given t-shirts, calendars, mugs, pens and key chains. For a change, I'm thinking of something unique and I got an idea while browsing the net. I think a hand sanitizer would be good idea. I always have my hand sanitizer with me but I never thought of them as promotional items until I saw the samples online. That's a different type of small gift that's not only cute, but useful too. For sure, I feel my idea will please all!
I chatted with my friend Cherry this morning and it was so nice talking to her once more and know the updates about her so-called life. It was only last year when we got together again after about almost ten years of no communication. She was still living in South Carolina the last time I heard from her and I was surprised to know that they had transferred to Orlando, Florida, when our paths finally crossed on Facebook. And since then, whenever I think of her, I think of Disneyland, too. That was actually the main thing we talked about after I saw the pictures she posted when they visited the park.
Even at my age, Disneyland is still one of the places that I want to see someday. And I know my son, Yogi would love to see it. It would be a dream come true for both of us to see the park and enjoy the fun it brings. But wait! Is it too early for me to check on Orlando vacation packages now? Well, maybe not. It won’t hurt to check this early and be aware of how much it would cost us to visit the place. Or perhaps I’ll just ask Cherry to help me out on this. That’s an idea. But then, maybe I'll just be patient and wait until my Big Angel and I get married and let him worry about all the details. What do you think about that, honey? (",)
My last entry for the "Love Month" and this song is for my BA who's celebrating his birthday today. Happy Birthday, Honey! Mwahugs!

This has just been my second entry for this month's theme. I wasn't able to participate last week because it has been one hectic of a day for me. But I think it isn't that late yet to talk about who my date was. No less than my Big Angel, of course but our date only happened on Skype for we are miles apart. LOL.
And I don't think I need to explain further why I don't have a photo of us to share here with you. All I can share is a photo of the Valentine gifts that he sent me. It's our first Valentine's Day as a couple and tell you what, the distance didn't hinder us in celebrating it as special as we wanted it to be. Being the sweet person that he always is, my day was full of surprises, and these gifts here were the last to arrive. I won't just enumerate all of them one by one here for I'll be blogging more about it at my other blog.
Hope your V-day was full of love just like mine! (",)
I heart this song a lot and this is for you, BA. Happy Valentine's! Love you much! Mwah!

The importance of electricity in every household all over the world is very significant. Lucky for us who have access to these benefits but, unfortunately, there are some people who are not as fortunate because there are some places that are deprived of enjoying the advantages that electricity brings which affects their day to day living. And those individuals are those who live in rural areas – areas that are underdeveloped and have as yet to be reached by the advancements that are enjoyed in urban areas.
The Philippines, being a country that belongs to the list of third world countries, has many rural areas across the nation of that have no electricity. But as technology advances, newly improvised concepts have been created that have enriched many Filipino’s lives.
One major example of that is the home solar kit. Being that our location is so close to the equator, our country experiences an almost eternal summer throughout the year and that is why solar energy in the Philippines is so feasible and highly regarded. And this one of a kind discovery is not only being enjoyed by those who up to now have had no electricity, but even those who would like to save on electricity and those who don’t want to suffer the inconvenience that the blackouts or power outages bring.
The importance of solar energy is known all throughout the world. If you have ideas to share about solar energy, please check the topic - The Power of Ol' Sol - that I started at LopezLink.ph. Hope to hear your comments and thoughts.
It's Thursday once again and it's another day of girls talk. And since it's the month of love, as expected, we girls will be talking all about love. So, let me start about this week's theme - my one true love.
I've been talking about him here so my blogger pals and those who visit my sites regularly already knew him. Not personally though but only through the blogs I've written. He remained a mystery for a while until that day when I finally introduced him to the world by showing his picture and announcing about our engagement. I'm talking about my fiance' whom I call my Big Angel or BA - the ever loving, supportive and understanding human being not to mention, the sweetest man alive, for me, that is. Hee hee. He calls me his cutie li'l Anghel and I feel so damn lucky to have met him.
But...
Not to be forgotten, my late husband is my one true love too. Don't be confused but he will forever be in my heart. He is my son's father and the first man who taught me what love is.
Oh well, maybe my title should be... MY TWO TRUE LOVE, huh? That will do. Hee hee.
The month of love started yesterday and soon enough, we will be celebrating Valentine's Day. I don't know yet on what to expect this Valentine's Day because sad to say, my fiance' and I will be celebrating it apart because we are miles away. Nevertheless, it would still be special because it will be our first Valentines.
Anyway, in celebration of Valentine's Day, here's the linky love tag from PinayMommy. I joined the tag two years ago, if I'm not mistaken and I'm glad I get to join again this year.
Happy Heart's Day everyone!
