BA's Vinyl Album Collection

My BA's collection started long ago and the records were from songs of different eras and from different artists. I can still remember that we used to have Vinyl albums when I was young but I wonder where they are now. My parents weren't able to take care of them like what my BA did. It could have been a great collection. So, there you go. Amazing collection, huh?

Comfy, Cozy Beds

The rainy season in our country is over now, but we’re experiencing rain showers every now and then because of the typhoon that hit some parts of the country. And in a cold weather like this, the first thing that comes to my mind is to lie down in bed and doze off because it is definitely very conducive for warmth and sleeping. What's more if I had one of those Platform Beds from Spacify.com which are undoubtedly comfy and cozy, not to mention classy and quality made, I’d probably sleep all day. But that remains a wish for now since I still have to get myself one of those beds, and the one in the picture would be my choice.

A Lovely Necklace from the Sweetest Man Alive

Yes, no doubt he is the sweetest. For me, if I may say so. Hee hee. Aside from showing his true love and care for me, he's also been showering me with not just loving words through his emails and phone calls but with gifts as well. And here's an addition to it. He gave me this white gold necklace on our special day in August. See the letters L & H engraved on the pendant? That stands for our names. And on the back of the pendant is the date of our anniversary. Now tell me. Isn't he sweet? (",)

A Budget Bride's Best Bet

I've been thinking of my brother and his fiancé’s wedding which is set late next year and it seems such a long time to wait. But my sister-in-law-to-be, Karen, started her preparations the day after they got engaged. Time flies so fast after all, and before we know it, the magic day will be here. She’s been searching for ideas and asking for advice from family and friends. I gave her ideas myself since I’ve been there and done that. Her mind’s already set on some aspects like the motif and wedding invitations but she still has to research the rest. She still has several months to do it, but then again, she’s not letting a day go by without getting ideas, especially for the wardrobe of the entourage.

A wedding requires detailed planning and serious preparation since it only happens once in a couple’s life, not to mention it being the most special event of all for them both. That is why Karen is scrutinizing every detail of the wardrobe. Just like any other bride, she wants the best but she’s trying to be frugal and get the best for less. More aptly said, she is a bride on a budget. My brother and she can have the grandest of weddings but they’re being practical which is the right thing to do nowadays. Besides, you can have quality at a reasonable price. Being resourceful is the key to it all.

She always tells me whenever she gets new ideas, especially about the cheap wedding invitations she got. She got what she wanted at a very reasonable price which really delighted her. That’s good news for me too. I did tell her that for as long as it is what she likes, then go for it. I did like her choice, too; very elegant and unique.

I really can’t wait for their wedding day. And even much more so, my brother Erwin and Karen can hardly wait!

My BA's Portable CD Player

He's so into music just like me and he brought this with him when he had his vacation here a few weeks ago. I find it so cute especially with those mini speakers. He had it settled on top of the dresser table in his hotel room from day one until his last day here. My son Yogi find it cute too and they were actually jamming one time - listening to Linkin Park's songs the whole time we were there. They got along so well since Yogi like their songs too and it was amusing watching them jammin' like that. (",)

Wear One and Be Protected

Living in a tropical country where it is summer almost all throughout the year can be annoying at times. There are times that the heat raised up to about 35 degrees which is really hot. So hot that it’s like you feel the heat penetrates deep down to your bones. And with a weather like that, a lot of protections are needed to spare us from the harmful rays of he sun. Examples are sunscreen or sun block to protect the skin and sunglasses to protect the eyes - must haves that I make it a point not to forget putting on myself whenever I go out.

Speaking of sunglasses, some may think that sunglasses are only used as a fashion statement. Little did they know that with the fashion comes a useful notion which is protection for the eyes. Though it cannot be denied that nowadays, sunglasses are becoming more fashionable as compared before like those Versace Sunglasses that most individuals chose to have. It is definitely getting better as time goes by which is definitely great since we don’t only have our eyes protected but we are also updated of the latest trend and fashion.

And if you’re thinking of getting yourself one of those designer sunglasses, I suggest you go check out eyeglasses123.com and choose among the wide array of sunglasses that they have. Have fun shopping!

Air Supply: Live in Gensan!

It was around midday that day when my BA decided to go to the bank which is just a walking distance from the hotel he's staying. We just had our breakfast then and I'm kind of lazy to go with him, more so that it's so hot outside so he let me stay at the hotel. I decided to wait at the lobby since no one's in there too. Had it been crowded, I could have went with him. Hehe.

I chose to stay at the chairs located near the door and saw this leaflet standing on the center table. That's the only time then that I learned of the concert. I was like...wow! Really? It would be their first time here in the city and watching their concert would be great, no doubt. Their songs are what we consider classic and you can listen to it over and over again without getting deaf. LOL. Seriously, they are one of the great artists in the history of music and having us, Generals (the people of GenSan) experience what it's like to see them perform live is simply awesome.

I wish I can watch it with my Big Angel to make it more romantic. Cheesy! (",)

A “Golden” Opportunity to Continue the Battle!

A lot of individuals, adult, teens and kids alike, are now addicted to WOW: the World of Warcraft. I’m not so into computer games and that’s why I’m totally clueless about the game, but I’ve heard about it several times from many of my friends and family.

And while I was browsing the net, I learned that World of Warcraft gold and other virtual currency are sold online at mymmoshop.com. Using this handy tool makes things easier for the players since they can save time and all their hard work . Sounds interesting, huh? If you’re into WOW, why don’t you Buy WoW Gold now and continue your road to victory.

Patrick Swayze Dies at 57

This was the headline news on yahoo when I opened it around noon time, and I really was surprised. I haven't been updated about the latest entertainment news lately that's why I didn't hear about his illness. He died of pancreatic cancer on Monday, the 14th of September. So sad!

I'm not a fan of his but I do love two of his movies, Ghost and Dirty Dancing. I really admired his dancing prowess in Dirty Dancing and most especially his acting ability in Ghost not to mention, he and Demi Moore looked good together in that movie.

May he rest in peace!

Music Monday: Love Story by Taylor Swift

I like the beat of this song instantly the first time i heard it but I didn't who the artist was until my cousin told me - Taylor Swift, such a talented girl, very pretty as well. The song was played too while my BA and I were having lunch at this bistro. Never thought he knew the girl. Well, she's a new singer so i thought he didn't know she existed. Hee hee. Anyway, Happy Music Monday!

G.I. Joe

Wednesday last week, after having our lunch, my BA and I thought of watching a movie. It wasn't at all in our itineraries. It just popped up right after we stuffed our tummies. I'm not really a movie goer so i wasn't aware of the films being shown in our cinemas. So we just went to the mall and checked.

There were only four movies to choose from - two Filipino films and two Foreign films, one of which is a horror film which is not really my kind of movie to watch. Obviously, we opted for G.I. Joe. I'm not a Sci-Fi movie fan as well as my BA but we have no other choices, didn't we? Hehe.

For me, it's like a kiddie film with all those effects that is really unrealistic. Nevertheless, we were entertained. Humor was good enough and of course, it's the first ever movie my BA and I watched together, so that made it memorable. (",)

See the Way to Savings

I am the type who gets impulsive at times when it comes to shopping. And at times that means spending on something and regretting it later. Maybe I need to be more aware of tips in regard to how you can start spending smart. But when it comes to my favorite high fashion eyeglasses, Zenni Optical is the best and I don’t think I’ll be needing those tips since their $ 8 Rx eyeglasses are the smartest deal you can find. Beat that!
