As what my Chinese zodiac says, i was born in the year of the rabbit. I could say, I am not really a believer when it comes to Horoscopes. I just find it fun reading such from time to time most especially if what it says are positive. And this one which I found over yahoo kind of put a smile on my face because it's inspiring in a way. Chic Spot's New Look

There was a time that i kept on looking on my three blogs over and over again. I was focusing my attention on the layouts which were beautifully and creatively made my dear blogging buddy Twinks. But after a while, i thought the color of this blog looks a little darker for me. Maybe because my other two blogs have lighter colors. So after a few days of contemplating, i've decided to give this blog another new look to make it brighter. And of course, who else would do it but Twinks. And so here it is - much lighter and much simplier. Nice, isn't it? Twinks did another good job. Thanks a lot, Sis. Keep up the good work. Mwahugs!

Friends are like balloons, once you let them go, you might not get them back. Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and problems, that we may not even notice that we've let them fly away. Sometimes we are so caught up in who's right and who's wrong that we for get what's right or wrong. Sometimes we just don't realize what real friendship means until it is too late. I don't want to let that happen so I'm gonna tie you to my heart so I never lose you.

Rustom is Dead!

The phrase exactly came from him. If you have seen the news lately, then i'll bet, you know who i am referring to - no less than Mr. Rustom Padilla - the Filipino actor who eventually came out of the closet and unleashed the real him. He calls himself "Bebe Gandanghari" now and his change of identity brought oohs and aahs not just in the entertainment world but the whole country as well, i believe so. I watched him being interviewed in this entertainment talk show last Sunday and i was really amused watching him all dolled up like a real woman. He was once considered as one among the many matinee idols to hit the silver screen and even married one of the hottest young stars but separated in the end.

Anyways, pictures below shows his before and after looks. So what can you say?

My Niece's Blog

She always watches me whenever i tinker my blog and she also reads my posts whenever she gets the chance. She finds it interesting so i told her to do her own. I've been telling her for weeks but she refused for the main reason that she's shy to do one. I continued to encourage her and it was only last week when she finally decided to start and that's it. She's only 13 and she will not be allowed to do paid posts yet but this blog is for the purpose of expressing herself more, improve her writing skills and develop her self-esteem as well. She is a shy girl and she needs a little bit of exposure. So now that she has her blog "A Day in the Life of Mawee," which i provided the title myself, i know she will greatly improve in those aspects that i've just mentioned. How To Tame Your Baby Hair

To tame wild strands that keep getting in the way of an otherwise polished 'do, apply a small amount of gel or serum onto it. Then, comb and pin strand in place with a small clip and gently blast it with a dryer. Finish by removing the clips, going over your mane again with a fine comb, and applying a small amount of hair spray. No blow dryer? Just rub a pea-sized amount of wax onto your fingertips and apply it directly onto strands.

It was in December of 2007 when my friend introduced me into the world of blogging. It has been a year since then and I enjoyed everything in it tremendously for many reasons. I’ve gained friends, I’ve learned a lot and to top it all, I’m earning while doing so, not to mention, at the comfort of my own home and at my desired pace. I’ve always been open to opportunities so when my friend asked me if I wanted to earn, I had no second thoughts then and I grabbed the opportunity right away. Twilight

It was shown December last year and i thought i will be shown until this month but much to my dismay, it ended after three weeks of showing. And you bet, i wasn't able to watch it. I still haven't seen it on DVD up to now too. It would have been great to see it on screen. Oh well, i know it's too late to fret now.

Nikko's Personalized Christening Giveaways

As early as October, my Sister and I were already checking the malls for giveaways. We were eyeing on these small Spongebob stuffed toys for the visitors (Spongebob was the chosen Christening theme) and much bigger ones for the sponsors. But it was in mid-November, i think, when blogger Lalaine told me about her personalized chocolate bar giveaways. I told my Sister about it and she instantly liked the photos that Lalaine sent showing her products which consist of chocolate bars and chocolate kisses. After which, my Sister ordered and here are the finished products.

These plastic feeding bottles which were filled with white and brown chocolate kisses were exclusively for the Sponsors. White for the female sponsors and brown for the male sponsors.

And these chocolate bars were for the visitors who graced the occasion and became part of Nikko's special day.
