A Musician's Chance of a Lifetime!

But there’s good news for those aspiring artists who want to be known and share their God-given talent with the world. Here comes MTV Emerge – a platform for unsigned music talent in the Philippines. It’s a wonderful opportunity for new artists since they will be given the chance to display their talent, not to mention a chance to have a one-year recording contract with Jeepney Music.

This is a joint MTV, Jeepney Music, and Department of Tourism collaboration to find the most deserving individuals that possess great talent from all kinds of music, be it hip hop, rock, R&B, etc. Jeepney Music was created by Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas and is not just a record label - it is an entity of change created to give back to the Philippines and the globe. And The Department of Tourism (DOT) is the Philippine government agency responsible for encouraging, promoting and developing tourism as a major socio-economic activity, spreading its benefits to all sectors of society.

There will be seven grand prize winners for a year contract with Jeepney Music and mentorship under Apl.de.Ap – Jeepney Music’s founder. Voting ends tonight so what are you waiting for?
