There were times that i didn't mind the lyrics of the song that i'm listening to and just listened to it's melody, but eventually figured what it is about. But there were also times that every word of the song that i was listening to goes to every nerve in my brain (if that's how you call it. LOL). Maybe it depends on the kind of mood that i'm into or the surrounding that i'm in. Whichever, i am a music lover and i can't last a day without humming a tune or listening to any song. (",)

As for me, I prefer listening to the lyrics of the song. I like songs with lyrics that seems to be speaking what I feel or something that I can relate to. But there are also exceptions, when I enjoy just the melody of the song, especially when it's an upbeat song.
