Cars Again and Again...

Yogi was absent from school since Monday because of his flu. And you know what's keeping him busy throughout the day? You bet! Watching the movie Cars on DVD over and over again. He didn't get tired watching it since Monday up to today actually. For sure, it will be the same scenario tomorrow. If the DVD could only talk, it probably said, let me rest please. LOL. But i can't blame him. He gets bored easily. Well, you know kids. And the movie is so entertaining too that's probably why he can't get enough of it. I often heard him laughing from the room many times while i was doing my stuff. I did watch with him a few times and laughed at some of the scenes myself. The movie is hilarious. Have you seen it? Maybe you did.

There was a time when i was tagged about my top 4 hottest men, and you got it right, Hugh Jackman was among them. He became my crush since he portrayed the role of Wolverine in X-men. Well, who wouldn't? He definitely has the body any woman would crave for. Don't you agree? Lol.

And it was yesterday when i found out that he was named as People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for this year which was the throne of Brad Pitt in the past. Whoa! That only mean one thing, this Australian hunk is such a hottie and probably makes women drool. Lol. Nicole Kidman even told the press that women's jaw drops whenever Hugh passes by in the location where they were shooting their latest movie, Australia. His wife got to be so lucky to have Hugh as his husband. What do you think? (",)

Toto Rocks!

It was a night of mixed emotions. Everyone was excited to see Toto's original lead vocals, Bobby Kimball, perform but there were also some who were anxious on how would the people respond to the first ever live concert by an international artist in GenSan. I was referring to my parents and their co-Rotarians. We were at the Gym as early as 7:30 p.m. even though the concert will start at 9 o'clock because my parents still have some things to attend to before the concert will finally start. Being part of the immediate family, my siblings and I were given V.I.P. tickets to the concert for free. That gave me a chance to see and took pictures of Bobby Kimball the closest anyone would want to do.

The Gym was packed with individuals from different walks of life. Adults, teens and even kids were there to witness. When Bobby Kimball finally entered the stage and sang Georgy Porgy, the place was filled with wild uproar. More so when he sang the hits, I'll be over you, Rosanna and Africa. The people even sang along with him and i am not an exception actually.

His CDs were sold during the concert and were personally signed by Bobby Kimball himself after the concert. Beside him is his lead guitarist.

It was a night full of excitement and euphoria. A night of great performance and a night which took part in GenSan's history. People were still shouting, "more, more!..." when the band was done with their last piece but maybe next time again. (",)

Miss Philippines is Miss Earth 2008

She made it! I was really delighted upon hearing the news earlier this morning over Umagang Kay Ganda (Philippines' top rated morning show). She is the first ever Filipina who's crowned as Miss Earth and the first Asian actually to be crowned as such. She bested 84 other candidates from all over the world. Other candidates who made it were Tanzania as first runner-up, Brazil as second runner-up and Mexico as third runner-up.

I was supposed to watch the pageant last night. I thought it will start at 9 o'clock so i waited but much to my dismay, it's already 10 o'clock but it didn't start yet. I could have waited much longer if my eyes cooperated with me but it didn't. I already felt so sleepy. So i've decided to just wait for the news the next day, and now i kind of regretted why i didn't watch. Nevertheless, i'm still glad because she won. Congratulations Miss Henry!

Miss Earth 2008

This year's winner of Miss Philippines, Karla Paula Henry of Cebu will compete in the upcoming Miss Earth 2008 against other candidates from all over the world. The pageant will air live via ABS-CBN on Sunday, November 9 from Clark Expo, Pampanga, Philippines.

No Filipina has yet been crowned as Miss Earth ever since the annual Beauty Pageant started a few years back. Will she be the first one to be crowned as such? We never know. I do believe she has the beauty and intelligence a beauty queen should possess. It remains to be seen though but let's keep our fingers crossed. Good luck Miss Henry!

Pinoy Fear Factor

Being a reality TV show buff, i see to it that i never miss an episode of Fear Factor before. I know some of the scenes can be disgusting but it adds up to the excitement and thrill of the show, i believe so. I remembered this episode wherein the contestants were tasked to eat caterpillars. Yikes! Having a phobia with caterpillar, that one simply gross. I can't even look straight at them while munching those animals. But then again, it didn't stop me from watching the show. And now that Fear Factor has invaded the Philippines with Pinoy Fear Factor which is set to hit the TV screens on November 10th, i just can't really wait. With Ryan Agoncillo as host which is considered to be among the Philippines' best hosts, I won't miss an episode for sure, no doubt about that.
