A New Watch for Myself

It wasn't my birthday nor there is any special occasion of some sort. I just thought of buying myself a new watch for my everyday use. It's not the one in the picture but it looks similar to the that one. I haven't gotten a photo of it so i thought of just browsing for one in the net. It's a Swatch watch that is just right for my casual get-up, and i had chosen the color white -- which is actually my favorite color when it comes to watches -- because it matches any kind of color. Like i can wear any color i want without thinking if they match or not.

I purchased it last week from my Mom's friend whose business is selling watches, jewelries, bags, shoes, etc. I was thinking of buying two watches since they are cheap but thought otherwise. Maybe i'll get another one in December.

Nikko's Christening Theme

It was raining today like it was in the previous days but still, it didn't refrain us (my sister, yogi and myself) from going to the mall. Well, we have a ride anyway so no problem. Our main reason of malling was to shop for my nephew Nikko's upcoming christening. It will be in December ( i know we still have ample time to go shopping) but you know, malls will be packed by people then so it is really best to shop this early to avoid long queues and all. We searched for giveaways, invitations and cakes. My sister thought of having Spongebob as the party's theme. We've seen some that are really perfect for giveaways but my sister is yet to decide. She's thinking that maybe she could still find something much cheaper. Oh well, with the crisis going on, we need to be really practical.

Generals, You Got To Be There!

Few more days to go and it's going to happen. This is perhaps the much awaited event by many including me for this year. But of course, they'll be the first ever international band who's going to perform here in our city. That's why i can't believe it at first. But here's the proof already and nothing can stop them now. They'll be here to perform, LIVE! I can't wait.

The New Chic Look!

Look at that! Do you like it? Once again, Twinks did an amazing job. She's also the one behind the transformation of my "mother" blog, My so-called Life. She is really good at this stuff that's why i had no second thoughts of getting her service, if i may say so, when i thought of getting this spot a new look. I had no particular look in mind that i want so i let her do what she thinks would fit this blog. I trust her creativity and i was actually ecstatic the first time she showed me the finished product. Isn't it awesome? Keep up the good work, Twinks!

Toto: For Real!

You heard me right. It is for real and the concert is already set next month at the Lagao Gym. They will be performing in Davao too and their next performance will be here in GenSan, no less. I still can't believe it myself actually so i asked my father again after they had their meeting last week and he said it's going to happen, for sure. Contracts have been signed and the concert is scheduled on November 16, Sunday, this year. You're probably wondering why you haven't heard it anywhere over the radio or seen on TV. Well, as per my Dad, they're still working on the promotions and will have talks and or meetings for that one yet. Just watch out for that one.

Toto: Live in GenSan!

Surprised?! I was surprised to hear the news myself. My mom and dad were talking in the dining area and i can hear them from where i was sitting in the living room. I overheard mom mentioned about local artists and that's when i batted in and asked what was it about. Mom retorted that Toto is having a concert here in GenSan in a monotonous tone. She's not familiar with Toto so she doesn't sound excited at all. But upon hearing it, i was like, Toto the international artist?! Dad answered yes. I got really excited and ecstatic all of a sudden. I can't believe that Toto will be performing here in our city. They'd be the first international band to perform here then.

Rotary Club International will be one of the major sponsors and my father being a member of the club was one of those who were tasked in organizing the said event which is set to happen next month already. I really can't wait! I love the music from the 80's and Toto is one of my favorite artists from that era. Hope i'll get free tickets from my father and a ring side ticket at that. Hehe.
