Surprised?! I was surprised to hear the news myself. My mom and dad were talking in the dining area and i can hear them from where i was sitting in the living room. I overheard mom mentioned about local artists and that's when i batted in and asked what was it about. Mom retorted that Toto is having a concert here in GenSan in a monotonous tone. She's not familiar with Toto so she doesn't sound excited at all. But upon hearing it, i was like, Toto the international artist?! Dad answered yes. I got really excited and ecstatic all of a sudden. I can't believe that Toto will be performing here in our city. They'd be the first international band to perform here then.Rotary Club International will be one of the major sponsors and my father being a member of the club was one of those who were tasked in organizing the said event which is set to happen next month already. I really can't wait! I love the music from the 80's and Toto is one of my favorite artists from that era. Hope i'll get free tickets from my father and a ring side ticket at that. Hehe.

Great Blog you have here. I hope you get to see your favorite band, Toto! I can't think of one song that they sang back in the 80's but I do remember the band. Have fun!

I've heard it also and I actually saw a poster of their concert in Gaisano Mall of Gensan, I won't miss this, I'll watch their concert. But I visited their official website and I was disappointed, it would not be a Toto concert, only one member of Toto would be here, Bobby with another band, the Bruce Conte's Band.
Sorry it is not a Toto concert. But if it would be Steve Lukather who would come, their guitarist, I would be very ecstatic.

Bobby Kimball was their lead vocals from the time TOTO started and was behind the hits Africa, Rosanna, etc. I know it would be a great concert and something that we shouldn't miss. (",)
The people of GENSAN will not be treated as IGNORANT and IDIOT by these greedy promoter...we will be experiencing a second rate event performer, the BRUCE CONTE'S band doing covers of TOTO"s GREATEST hits...BOBBY KIMBALL is not TOTO!!! they are only using the name TOTO for promotional purposes so don't you ever waste your hard earned money watching a cover band.
