Friends for Keeps

I haven't seen this friend of mine for a while but yesterday, i was surprised to received a text from her. She was out of town to visit her relatives. I invited her for my son's birthday, her godchild, but she wasn't able to come. I haven't asked her yet why she didn't make it. She's been a friend since college, so that's more like 15 years of friendship and it sure is still counting. We've been through a lot like most friendships does i guess. She's one of my closest friends that i can really count on anytime. I miss this friend of mine. I really hope to see her soon.
